Our goal with technology is to use it thoughtfully, to help students create (rather than consume), to support our strong instructional model of collaboration in order to learn language through content, and to give our new immigrant students opportunities for technology access and training that they may not have at home.

In 2015 MIHS was awarded the Apple ConnectED grant. The grant provided 1 to 1 iPads for every student along with other technology, professional learning, process management, and technology support services. The ConnectED initiative has revolutionized our classrooms with access to new technologies to reinforce our path toward transformed educational opportunities.
